Executive Director

Robert serves as the Executive Director of the STAR Health Improvement and Livelihood Development Program, where he leads with a deep commitment to fostering healthier, more resilient communities. With an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Makerere University and a strong business administration foundation from Gulu University, Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic vision to the organization. He has a Diploma in Project Planning and Entrepreneurship Development as well as diploma in cooperative and Business Administration

He has more than 10 years experience in Accounting and Finance gained from working with different NGOs and Business organizations.Robert is experienced in developing and implementing general accounting systems, preparing journal entries, maintaining and reconciling ledger accounts, providing record of assets, liabilities , balancing  books periodically, preparing and presentation of management reports, preparing annual Final Accounts  as well as analyzing and interpreting of the final accounts.He is well versed with project and institutional auditing , developing and implementing strong internal control systems as well as ensuring compliance in an organization.

With additional experience in project management, resource management and mobilization and  team building , Robert maintains a positive relationships with internal staff, stake holders ,severed communities and donors. He has expertise knowledge in Microsoft NAVISION software, Bush soft, Quick Books, HR Inspire Software, Sage Evolution Accounting package among others.  He is enthusiastic and  dedicated to advancing STAR Help's mission by focusing on integrity, collaboration, and respect—core values that resonate across STAR Help’s work in community health systems, economic empowerment for women, educational support, climate action, and advocacy.

As he pursues CPA Level 2, Robert’s expertise  knowledge in financial management strengthens our impact, ensuring transparency and accountability in all initiatives. His leadership is pivotal in guiding STAR Help's efforts to create sustainable, positive change within communities.
